lionsgate nerve.
with a new movie on the horizon, lionsgate reached out to elastic to help with some title animations for henry joost & ariel schulman’s ‘nerve’.
my main goal in the design phase was to find the right balance between the glitch world and something a little more organized. staying strictly in adobe’s after effects and using its native toolset i was able to explore a variety of techniques from design to final animation before landing on something everyone was happy with.
design & look development.
for a retro-future feel i start using a monochromatic style to further enhance with bright colors later on. once the initial designs were presented however, the black and white style was the favorite, which allowed me to move into the animation stage.
