facebook reached out to haus of doom to help create an atmospheric film for the release of the oculus quest. the request came in with very specific direction - highlight the product, make it look high end and it needs to go live in a week with a runtime of ten seconds.
leading up to the big reveal, we quickly began to rough in animation while looking for our hero moments to further highlight the latest features of oculus’ newest vr headset.

with a simple three point lighting setup, a soft easy environment was achieved and a look quickly established in a short turn around as requested by client.
using cinema 4d and octane render to produce the final frames, it made for a quick and simple delivery of various hd formats for social and print.
